Beautiful property with stunning views, pool is gorgeous with lovely comfy bed chairs. Very friendly and attentive staff, great food choices. Bedroom was nice, my only niggle was bathroom felt a bit tight … next time I’ll choose a bigger room!

The room 804 is probably the best at Marpunta resort , very big , great view , very close to the reception which is important since all other rooms are at the top of the resort which need a buggy car to go , and that is not always available

Nice stay at a all inclusive resort.

We had a week at Alonissos for our honeymoon and started our stay at Marpounta. We looked forward to a relaxing experience with all inclusive chilling on some sunbeds. For this purpose the hotel was perfect. But the stay started quite disappointing. Since it was our honeymoon I wanted the hotel to arrange a small attention for our arrival at the room. We also wanted to be picked up at the ferry port and transported to the hotel, since this is something the hotel seemingly offers according to hotels.com. I contacted the hotel for these inquiries but I never got a reply. So we was not picked up at the ferry port and was not welcomed with any little attention upon our arrival. Bad first impression. We were also given a wrong room and had to move, luckily before we had packed out. With this said, the food was wonderful and varied, the staff was nice and the location near the sea was beautiful. It’s a chill vibe that suites several ages. Notice that hotels.com states checkout at 12 pm local time, but the reel checkout is at 11 am local time.

Beautiful place, with 2 beach accesses. Calm and nice aesthetics. Unfortunately it seems that they recruit only trainees and all people were polite, lacks of professionalism. Seems that a ship without captain. Breakfast also basic. Moreover, the cleaning every 2 days was not expected at this level of hotel that they present online!

Amazing stay in Marpunta Hotel

The most amazing paradise. We stayed early August the hotel was full and still very quiet as so spaced out. We did Bed and breakfast - you could pay 30 euros for buffet style dinner which was amazing ( children 12 euros) the staff are truely magic and cannot do enough to help. There are no near by restaurants to just walk to from the hotel but they do have a free shuttle service which takes you to the local town at various times of the day. This may not be on the website but they have daily pilates, yoga, paddle boards, kayaks, tennis courts, a restaurant by the pool where the food is fantastic. We did a two centre holiday with the second part in skiathos which is better if you like some shopping! You can book all of this yourself online - no need to use a holiday company, we used seajets for the island transfer, and if you contact the hotel they will pick you up, very recommended

Peaceful resort

This was one of the best places I’ve stayed during my summer travels. I spent 8 nights here alone and had a wonderful experience. The staff were kind, helpful, and professional rarely did I hear “no” from them. While there’s room for improvement in small details, they’re doing a great job overall. My sea-view room was lovely, though the Wi-Fi signal was weak. I had to use mobile data, and despite informing reception, it wasn’t resolved, likely due to poor signal coverage. The uphill location didn’t bother me. If you want great views, it comes naturally. There’s also a shuttle to and from reception.Facilities, restaurants, and bars were excellent. Staff work hard, and the food was great, especially the desserts. The resort is located in the beautiful Marpunta area, with two amazing beaches and crystal clear water. The main beach is well organized.However, the "second beach" could be improved. It needs more sunbeds, umbrellas, and better organization. Some guests reserved spots with towels in the morning and didn’t return for hours, which is frustrating when space is limited, especially in high season. The shuttle to Patitiri only runs twice daily. 11:45 og back 16:20. Adding one more departure in the evening from Patitiri (e.g. 7 PM) would be a big improvement. Taxis cost €10 too much for a short ride. All in all, I loved the staff, location, nature, views, beaches, and calm atmosphere +the food. I’ll definitely return.

La struttura si trova in una parte dell'isola tranquilla e lontano dal centro abitato. Ideale per chi vuole trascorrere una vacanza all'insegna della pace e del silenzio. Le camere standard sono situate nella parte alta del resort, quindi per tornare dalla zona ristoro che è in basso, si percorre una salita abbastanza impegnativa. In alternativa, chi ha esigenze particolari, si fa accompagnare con la golf car. La spiaggia è deliziosa, il mare cristallino. Il ristorante alla carta di ottima qualità.

Resort molto isolato ideale per chi cerca tranquillità a contatto con la natura. Non è presente animazione di alcun tipo pertanto se l’intrattenimento serale per voi è d’obbligo allora Marpunta non è una struttura consigliata. Ci sono due spiagge una di sabbia e una di sassi/scogli entrambe molto belle accessibili solo dal resort oppure dal mare più una piscina anch’essa ben sfruttabile. Provato buffet solo per colazione, di qualità anche se manca un pò di varietà e in un soggiorno di dieci giorni qualche variazione sul tema sarebbe apprezzabile, mentre per la cena abbiamo utilizzato spesso il ristorante Achinos vicino alla spiaggia di ottima qualità. Lo staff è molto giovane e volenteroso, manca un pò di guida e coordinamento sia per quanto riguarda posate e tazze/bicchieri mancanti a colazione e pranzo, che vanno sollecitati, sia per la consegna dei menu che a volte abbiamo dovuto richiedere diversi minuti dopo aver già ricevuto l’acqua, oppure tovaglioli portati via prima ancora di chiedere se necessitavamo del menu dei dessert… piccole cose che con un pò di supervisione possono migliorare notevolmente l’esperienza a tavola. In merito alle attività sportive presenti solo lezioni di yoga e pilates, il campo da tennis versa in condizioni mediocri e palline/racchette fornite gratuitamente dall’hotel non sono all’altezza, meglio chiedere agli ospiti una cauzione ma fornire almeno agli adulti un equipaggiamento adeguato.

Alcune camere sono ancora da rimodernare ed hanno il bagno vecchio che fa anche cattivo odore a causa degli scarichi. Siamo stati invasi dalle formiche perchè le finestre non chiudevano bene. Avevamo prenotato una suite vista mare e fronte mare ma ci hanno dato una stanza con un cespuglio davanti ed il mare dietro ed essendo al completo non abbiamo potuto cambiare. La pulizia è sufficiente, capita spesso di trovare capelli in giro o addirittura nel letto.

Το δωμάτιο μικρό σαν ποντικότρύπα. Ο Κλιματισμος λειτουργούσε μόνον με το κλειδί του δωματίου με αποτελέσμα να επιστρέφεις σε δωμάτιο-φούρνο. Ο Καφές δυο πρωινό από ρεβύθια και όχι κοκκκιυς καφέ !!!

Excellent

Everything was amazing. Clean and comfortabke room with excellent mattress. Excellent breakfast every day with very friendly staff. Two beaches in the resort and great restaurant achinos. Only compaint during our whole stay was the WiFi (internet speed).

La struttura è molto bella e si trova in una location veramente incantevole. La camera era molto moderna e pulita. La zona piscina è notevole con dei lettini imbottiti comodissimi e anche la spiaggia è tenuta molto bene! Le uniche due note negative sono: - la distanza delle camere al corpo principale collegate da una salita ripidissima - il personale veramente inesperto e scortese
