My parents stayed at Grand Mildom and absolutely loved their experience with the hotel! The hotel staff and service were excellent. They were really impressed with breakfast buffet They loved their room and bed was extremely comfortable. In overall, they will definitely come back again.
The hotel facilities were clean and the beds were comfortable. I used room 901, and the TV and single sofa were placed far apart. The iPad was not mirrored on the smart TV. Other than that, I was satisfied and would use it again.

Typical mid-range property in good location. What cost them stars - ineffective A/C combined with extremely thick duvet. The bed was as hard as a rock. Not a lot of sleeping
Hotel staff are welcoming and friendly.
The room was comfortable.
The breakfast was good.
However, the manager & a Staff member due to their improper communication let me down badly - I was made to believe that I would be arranged with another room after I decided to extend my stay, but on the day, they ended saying the hotel was full & I had no option but to go stay in different hotel for 3 nights/4 days. It was a bad exit
The hotel is new and very well located. There is a large mall with restaurants across the street and more restaurants walking diстаnce. The staff is very friendly, although somewhat inexperienced. The lobby area is too small, so is the breakfast area. Breakfast itself is very good though. Bathroom in the room is very modern, but inconvenient Other than that, I was happy with the room. Housecleaning was a challenge. They never cleaned until late in the afternoon or evening.
Nevertheless, in my opinion, the positives outweigh the negatives. I would stay here again were I to visit Almaty in the future.

The location was exceptional! I needed a hotel near the US consulate and shopping area and the hotel met all my expectations.The staff was responsive and nice. AC did not work enough to cool dawn the room. It was pretty stressful for my elderly mom.The 9th floor was extremely loud because they have a night bar on the same floor. Be aware in case you need a good rest. The restaurant service took forever but their food was excellent.

Worst receptionist ever.
Booked this hotel because my flight was lat night wanted rest for 6 hours.
Left a request note that I paid for over night stay but only stay 6 hours early check in if it’s available.
When I arrived, it was 1PM a lady at the reception unpleasantly looked at me said check in is 2PM come back in an hour.
I explained, if early check in is possible that I am only staying for 6hours. I was asked to wait for 10 mins.
I waited in the lobby that I was the only one who was waiting to check in.
After waiting over an hour, I saw this most unpleasant receptionist was talking and laughing to her colleague looked did not care how long I was waiting to check in, so I came up to her and asked again if my room was ready,
She said “ok passport”
She was not going to call me, or help me check in until I asked her again. I was sitting and waiting just 5 meters from her. And I was the only one in the lobby waiting.
After 6 hours of staying, I checked out, same receptionist.
Whoever comes to the reception desk, she doesn’t look seem to care.
I had to ask again wanted to check out.
She said “minibar?”
I said no.
She said “ okay you go bye”
I visited over 80 countries and stayed over hundreds of hotels and this was the worst check in and check experience.
How she looked at the guest, the way she talked to the guest and how she treated guest was most unpleasant she has no understanding of customer service. This receptionist needs to work somewhere else.
