"Wonderful hotel. Absolutely beautiful lounging areas with tons of windows overlooking the bay, with underground connecting tunnel to the Michelin restaurant and bar. We ate at the restaurant and also visited the bar. Excellent hospitality and quality. It was hard to leave."

"The room was clean, and the bathroom is small. Typical of what I have been seeing here in most hotels in Norway. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was as expected, the cooked items were barely warm and the scrambled eggs could have been cooked more. A ship pier is situated right next to hotel so you could get woken up by a ship at 1 AM!"

"Room was lovely and comfortable with views of the water. Beds were comfy. Bathroom clean. Restaurant was good but more pricey than other more exciting places in town. We were fairly disappointed with one relatively small aspect of our room. The power for tv and fridge was out. We had groceries from our travels and they ended up spoiled. It was such a waste! We had specifically told the front desk our fridge was *hot*, not just not cool. We were informed that it is a cooler not a refrigerator which was entirely incorrect as it was producing heat and the outlet was inaccessible to even unplug and maybe put some ice inside."

"The cabins are well kept, clean and tidy with care. Highly recommend upgrading your reservation to the larger cabins with bathroom and service kitchen complete with oven, cook top stove and healthy size refrigerator. The extra cost is worth every kroner. Thanks to the camp host, he was as welcoming as could be. Will happily stay here again! "

"This apartment is very small. The bed is against the wall and the person sleeping next to the window has to clamber over the other person to get out. The kitchen has a hob only, not an oven. The wet room is good. All in all, basic but adequate and clean"
