No geral gostamos dos apartamentos e do Resort. Apesar de notarmos algum desgaste dos apartamentos não deixamos de ter conforto. As piscinas estavam limpas e o distanciamento foi sempre respeitado por todos. Praias próximas e para quem gosta de andar bicicleta tem vários circuitos e paisagens para desfrutar.

Not so great apartment

This place for a 4 start apartment felt rundown, walls all scratched and dirty, broken corners, dirty floors. Air Con units really old and barely felt any air coming out. After speaking with the reception they called their handyman to see what he could do and they just cleaned the air filters but was pretty much the same. They did offer to call me the next day to change apartments but never did. The beach and pools being the highlight of the place. Would come back to Salgados but better off staying in an airbnb for what you pay to stay here.

Impressive apartment with an excellent veranda, however the veranda privacy mesh was not existent on our apartment, so did not the privacy to use the varanda for meals or hang out, all other apartment had them. All else was really awesome with that exception.

Lovely, spacious apartment. The complex has many swimming pools so it didn’t feel over crowded at all. Staff were very helpful and polite. Use of the spa shower facilities on the last day was very helpful as we had a late check out. The 10 minute walk to the beach was easy and picturesque. Although the facilities in the apartment were good, some of the furniture was old, scratched and rickety. Showers were just about ok but you would expect large head, power showers in this sort of place ( like the ones in the spa). You can walk to a small supermarket but there are no bars or restaurants in close walking distance. Overall a great apartment and we would stay at this complex again.

Amazing relaxing holiday in portugal. Many nice small pools with plenty of space, great food and cocktails at pool bar. Good supermartket. Short taxi ride to interesting night life. Short walk to beautiful beach. Would be lovely for families too.

Better every time

I've travelled to Salgados Vila das Lagoas 3 times in the last 4 years and it is a brilliant resort for a family. The villas are very comfortable and spacious. Location wise you are within walking distance of the beach or have a number of pools to relax at. I used the gym on a number of occasions and it is well equipped.

We've stayed here on several occasions. Villas are large and clean and modern. We love the quiet, clean neighbourhood. Close to the beach and beautiful pools.Very quiet with just one grocery shop and a handful of restaurants on the beach. Ideal for rest and recuperation. Gym available 5 euros per visit. Tennis courts onsite. Pool snack bar which is run privately could be so much better...

The flat was good but not woww

We stayed in a 3 bedroom flat for 9days. The flat was big with plenty of space for 6 adults and 1 baby walking around. Walking distance to the pool and beach. The area and surroundings are lovely but the details are a disaster. There was no juice machine as promised and cleaning everyday is a joke. Our bathrooms were full of black mould. Sinks were always getting blocked. You expect a flat like the one in pictures but no. Wood is not well taken care and the rug on floor is so dirty. It seems they don’t get the small details right, that make a stay enjoyable. For example to get or return beach towels you have to go to the reception which is pretty far from the pools. The staff and overall services are not very professional: lack of english at bar, not happy and not super efficient. This place could be a luxury destination and they sell you that but it is not what you get.

Excellent condos for family holiday in beautiful t

Fantastic well run resort with immaculate pools, nice casual open dining by the pools with good food options and priced reasonably. Condos very spacious with huge balconies, well equipped.and nice bathrooms. Housekeeping good and endless supply of towels. Located straight across the road from beautiful large beach accessed by scenic boardwalk. God's choice of nearby dining but recommend car hire for stay. The only.fault is mattresses are not the most comfortable. Top class hotel and I highly recommend.

Generally this is a nice hotel with good facilities, not far from Albufeira and the local marine park and the apartments were spacious and clean. I guess my areas to highlight would be the lack of a heated pool despite there been many many pools on both the Villa Das Lagoas and its neighbouring sister sites. The apartment could have had some more basics in it like a dishwasher tablet or two and maybe a little bit of washing up liquid and a cloth (we left ours and am sure others do). Also we felt very let down at check in due to lack of any assistance which meant my heavily pregant wife, 1 year old daughter and myself having to carry several bags the entire length of the resort unaided. Finally, we found the staff at check in to be unhelpful and unwilling to offer basic information on amenities and places to eat although when i went back a couple of days later i found the lady at the desk much more helpful. So i think it was reasonable but we hoped for better.

This was our second visit to Vila das Lagoas, and we will be returning. The apartments were very roomy, clean throughout and well equipped from wifi to crockery. The Reception staff i encountered were always helpful and friendly.
