"What a fantastic way to start experiencing Wadi Rum. Communication from the property before the trip was easy. There is a vehicle that takes you from the parking area to the actual hotel -- this is also where you can reserve a desert excursion. (Note: cash only and there are no ATMs around.) "ustedes me estafaron. no sirvió el número telefónico que me indicaron. nunca me enviaron la dirección correcta del supuesto lugar. nunca respondieron mis inquietudes exigo la devolución de mi dinero . you scammed me. The phone number they gave me did not work. They never sent me the correct address of the supposed place. They never responded to my concerns. I demand my money back."

"Atallah didn't know or forgot he had a reservation. A few different guides and accommodations' people called Atallah for me (closed/no answer) or commented that Atallah didn't have any reservations. Seems like they all know each other; and 'Atallah" is a common name. But, it came down to me leaving Wadi Rum for Aqaba instead."

"We truly recommend this camp. They are very welcoming and friendly - make you feel like part of family. Nice location of the camp as bit secluded to give you the best experience of stargazing without the need to book any additional tours. Directly from your room you can also enjoy the sunrise :) food is also great and you can try local cuisine. South and north tours are also nicely organised, you can enjoy them at your own pace and without any rush. Unforgettable experience. "

The hotel staff is great. Check-in was easy. My "room" was clean and comfortable -- and cool, as the property had set the AC before my arrival. Great view of the desert from the bed and couch. Loved the little deck area with chairs and a hammock. Got the most use from the hammock, enjoying the desert night air under a full moon. Breakfast/dinner service was excellent. Be aware the there's little close by and once you're on-site, you're there so brings any snacks you'll want. In all: very recommended!"
