「This is a hidden gem of tranquility. Great view, personalized service, really zen atmosphere. Highly recommended」

「Site exceptionnel, endroit magnifique, nourriture excellente.

「Very peaceful location. Just the sound of bird song.」

「Loved the room with views of mountains and surrounding mountainside neighborhoods. Wonderful breakfast (included in room rate) and lovely dinners (separate charge 120 MAD/meal).」

「The hosts where brilliant, lovely and helpful. We where a bit further from the city than we had planned. But it was an experience we will never forget. 」

「Perfect location - gorgeous rooms. Delicious food and very kind staff. It’s a lovely place to stay in Imlil and discover the area.」

「It was uniquely terrible. Access was beyond terrible. No vehicular access and a long long steep uphill path of steps and rough concrete. Impossible for anybody with the slightest walking issues. The house is situated in a building site. The garden is a total mess. The pool is unkept. The free public parking is a plain fabrication. The room shower is rough concrete. The bare bulbs and terrible maintenance makes this property one to avoid. The owner barely communicated with us. All in all a...

「The stay in La Citadelle was wonderful. The location itself is a good balance with the all-senses experience of Marrakech. The 45 minute drive is worth it. A rental car is a good way to combine Ourika/Imlil/Anima garden with Marrakech. For around €35 a taxi will take you from Marrakech to la Citadelle. Nadia is an excellent host, and cook. The garden and villa are gorgeous. The pool is large and clean. The interior and architecture of la Citadelle are jaw-dropping beautiful. 」

「This place is closed - don’t book as we did and turn up without a place to stay the night」
