「It is a family run Hostel, with a great location in Akureyri. Very good service and friendly staff. I had a pleasant stay.」

「Staff are generally nice and friendly, there is a bar downstairs which serves good food, many locals came for dinner so is quite vibrant if you would like to mingle with people from different counties. 「After a long, exhausting drive from the East, my family & I arrived in Akureyri around 1:00 am. We were completely exhausted after driving from the South & just ready to get some rest. 「We were disappointed, arrived in late evening and were supposed to stay 2 days but we immediately booked another hotel (K16 apartments) for the following night, which for a little more money gave us a much better experience. The issues we encountered: no free parking close by, 2 flights of stairs to carry our suitcases up to the apt, very small studio with sofa bed which occupies a lot of space when opened, plus an heavy glass and metal coffee table which further reduces space, no bath towels...
