"Housekeeping was excellent and spotless. The food was really tasty and we never had a bad meal here, the spread was very good. Service in general was very spot on especially Chaminda, who took really good care of us. The kids club ran by Shashini was very well received by our daughter and overall we had a really good time hear. We would love to visit again! "
"This property is a stunning gem away from the heat and bustle of Galle Fort. A beautiful pool and a sea breeze is definite respite during the day
A 5 minute tuk tuk ride will take you to the Fort.
The rooms are large. The beds very comfy. The shower was perfect. All decorated simply and in keeping with the building 150 year age.
Then there is Mohan who appears like magic when you need something. He is kind and friendly, the perfect host..if he offers to make you a traditional lunch or dinner say YES. Fresh fish and prawn curry he prepared was better than any restaurant in Galle. Get some beers or wine and stay in for the night.
I am happy i made the move from staying in the Fort to stay here. Thank you Mohan and team for a fantastic. I will be back!
Do not hesitate, this is a tranquil oasis."
"Helpful staff. Huge family room, more like an apartment, which opened right onto pool. Walk to jungle beach and peace pagoda. The staff put on a beautiful Christmas morning breakfast as well."
"The room was spacious, clean and luxurious. There were a few bugs but this is to be expected staying in the jungle. The check in staff were fantastic and very pleasant. The restaurant was a little slow with their service, and better food can be found in town."
