"This property was probably stunning the day it opened. Unfortunately they have not kept up with maintenance, and so it is looking quite dated and feels a bit dirty even though there was nothing wrong with housekeeping. On the plus side, the pools were very well looked after by the pool team, the staff is exceptionally friendly. Great location, but don't recommend the buffet..."

The design of the room is FANTASTIC,the amenities great(we loved the loukoumia and nespresso),no keys required which makes it much easier,the location is 2 minutes away by walk from the center of Agios Nikolaos.Very very satisfied,will absolutely go again next year. "The property was amazing! Highly recommend the suites with private pools. Everything was very clean and the staff were so kind and helpful. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our day and the food and drinks at the restaurant were also very good. We also enjoyed easy access to the beach. We also appreciated that the hotel helped us arrange transport from the airport. It was a bit of a drive but the property was worth it. We loved staying at The River!"
