Grosse déception

Situé au fond d’une étroite allée, entouré de ruines, l’environnement immédiat n’invite pas trop à la balade. Vous pourrez néanmoins vous garer facilement. Le jardin est luxuriant, très beau et fleuri, et entoure une jolie piscine dont l’entretien pourrait ceci dit être amélioré. L’eau était couverte de petites choses d’un côté et nous n’avons vu personne nettoyer durant notre séjour. Pas de wifi autour de la piscine / du restaurant, uniquement dans les chambres. Nous avons été « surclassés » et avons eu la chambre « Palmeraie ». A notre arrivée, des déjections de près d’1cm de long à 5 endroits de la chambre, et dans la salle de bains deux énormes cafards morts. Nous sommes dans une palmeraie soit. Mais tout de même, personne n’a jugé bon de vérifier et balayer les lieux avant de nous accueillir...? La chambre par ailleurs était extrêmement sombre : 4 petites lampes, toutes allumées, et la chambre était tjs aussi sombre, aucune lumière naturelle ne venant aider, construction traditionnelle oblige. Nous avons donc passé du temps dans le noir à organiser la suite de notre voyage, le wifi n’étant disponible que ds les chambres. Le jus d’orange était en briques : le seul endroit du pays où cela nous est arrivé ! pourtant indiqué « jus pressé » sur la carte... et facturé comme tel ! En pleine palmeraie c’est un peu dommage. Petit dej quelconque, et jus en brique. Le dîner était le seul bon point, vraiment délicieux et au bon prix pour la qualité des mets.

What a beautiful pool area!!!

Beautiful room, glamorous pool area, friendly staff, yummy included breakfast and delicious (though pricey for Moroccan standards) dinner. The hotel is also located in the middle of a Kasbah which seems quite abandon, though you see people on the streets and is interesting for walking around.

Amazing surprise in Agdz

If I had known how wonderful this place was before I booked, I would have made my stay longer. Nestled in ancient laneways in the small town of Agdz, this boutique hotel is a very quiet and relaxing place to stay for a few days. It feels old, in an historic way, its rooms are simple but stylish and elegant, and its open common areas are beautiful with terracotta brick walkways, inlaid mosaics and lots of greenery. The pool area is just small enough to be intimate, perfect for the small number of rooms available; at night it's bathed in mood lighting for a calming night under the stars. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and having dinner there is a must, very delicious. All in all, it feels very Moroccan without the tourist bustle of Marrakech or Ouarzazate. I want to go back again some day!

surprise de ne pas trouver les propritaires des lieux avec lesquels j'avais pourtant correspondu jusqu'alors...néanmoins l'établissement est tenu par un personnel exemplaire et soucieux du bien être de ses clients! merci à Naima, abdallah, khadija et fatiha pour leur gentillesse et leur bonne humeur. Agdz est une ville qui permet de pouvoir se restaurer à l'extérieur pour pas cher!
