"We ended up unexpectedly staying overnight in Minneapolis en route to Florida due to flight cancellations from a blizzard. This was one of the hotels offered on voucher and it was a nice alternative to the airport floor. The rooms were well appointed and the beds felt luxurious. The hotel restaurant had great food and service even though it was slammed due to the unexpected arrival of other people who had cancelled flights. The airport shuttle was a lifesaver, taking us to both the hotel as well as to the Mall of America to pass some time and then back to the hotel and then to the airport the next day. "

"Pool is a pain to use with having to get a players card or pay to use and waivers and so forth and is extremely small for how many guests check into this place. The buffalo tower is nicely done and room was equivalent to a 4 star hotel. "

"The hotel is wonderful. The history of the property makes it a fun place. It is a close walk to a lot of restaurants and entertainment. However, the property sits near homeless shelter and the neighborhood draws a lot of individuals who are struggling with mental health and drugs. Therefore, walks in the evening did not feel like a safe option. It did feel fairly safe during the daytime when downtown St. Paul is busy with people. *I want to emphasize the property is great but be cautious when traveling outside the location."

"The historic feel of this hotel was appreciated. The lobby had cozy seating and fireplace. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We appreciated the plush bathrobes and toiletries that were supplied, even the blow dryer was high end. "

"The staff was the sweetest. Breakfast was amazing. The only thing that would make this better is if there was a pool:)"
