"Amazing breakfast! "

"Upon arrival the receptionist was very blunt/rude and not welcoming at all. Made a big fuss about parking my van around the back (like I did with no issue during my last stay) and said I should have contacted the hotel before, which I did with no reply. When I showed her the message she just shrugged it off and said we don’t check bookings made through a third party - but was very happy to take the £600 payment off me!"

"Easy check in, good breakfast, easy and cheap to park. Only small point was the cleaning team ask that we keep towels, which we did, only for them to remove them on the second day and not replace with the same amount of towels for the people that were staying in the room."

"The Black Sheep is not open in the evenings for check-in and meals any more, and it was difficult to book online for a group larger than 4 in the Aztec restaurant. The bathroom as looking a little shabby, and the blind in the bedroom window was broken. It's convenient for us to stay and we've used this hotel twice a year for the past 4 years. It has some good offers on room rates, but standards are slipping."

"For a budget hotel (although I did stay in a Premium room) the room was really quiet and the bed was large. I slept really well. Lovely shower, fun design details - painting, large lamp, coffee machine. The room felt spacious. I’d stay again."

"Everything was good but No privacy in the bathroom inspite of making the glass cloudy!! For that reason we won’t opt to stay there."
