We stayed one night at Moana, a place we have stayed before.
Check in was friendly and easy, the cabin was clean and tidy but there was one major problem - the aircon/heater did not work!
What was worse, we did not realise until after we returned from dinner and found the apartment to be cold, and by then reception had closed. After deliberating we tried calling the normal number, but the automated message directed us to the "urgent only" after hours number. This we called and although we received a polite response, and an indication that they would contact 'somebody', they later rang back to say they were unable to do anything.
The cabin continued to get chillier and after walking around to keep warm we had to resort to an early night in bed - it was that uncomfortable.
Reception was apologetic the next morning and promised to send our comments on to 'management', but we have not received any response from them to date.
