This the most incredible experience. We enjoyed it so much we would go back. It was a true Time Machine for those that want to imagine what it’s like back then but with modern air conditioned magic. If you are in the area it’s a must.

This was one of the nicest stays I’ve ever had. Paolo and Franscesco were amazing hosts and gave us a full tour to understand the history of the castle. The breakfast was amazing and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Wish I stayed longer but will definitely go back in the future.

Great place to visit, authentically restored castle ran by the descendants of the same family. Owner Francesco and his wife are very friendly, generous and very kind hosts. Even though the castle isn’t in the main traveler’s route, it is most definitely worth taking a detour to stay here!

Charme absolu

Tout était magnifique, le luxe dans une demeure de charme absolue, incroyable petit chateau fort conservé par la famille. Dans une région splendide au pied des parcs natueels des Abruzzes et pres d'une des ville les plus belles des Marches - Ascoli.

L'accoglienza è stata superlativa e l'atmosfera all'interno del castello.è veramente speciale.

Unique and wonderful! We stayed here because we wanted to see the flower fields near Casteluccio. We drove up from Rome in about 4 hours through beautiful mountains. This castle (a former defensive fortification) was a breathtaking sight at the end of the drive. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Francesco and his sister Lara. Our baggage was taken up the stairs via an amazing custom monorail. The room was comfortable and cool, the linens were excellent quality, our sleep was refreshing, and breakfast healthy and satisfying. They feature delicious bottled juices. Francesco gave us a tour of the fascinating historical interior rooms including the winemaking room with the grape stomping vats! I highly recommend Castle di Luco, we will treasure our stay here forever!

What a lovely place to stay!

What an amazing place! Free tour of the castle on arrival and it was great to learn about the history and the restoration. The staff are extremely pleasant and friendly. The rooms are decorated to a high standard with fully modern heating and aircon, I’d highly recommend to anybody wanting to visit the Italian mountains.

It's a bit off the beaten path, which is exactly why we LOVED this property! We had the most incredible experience staying at this beautiful castle! From the moment we arrived, the owner was so warm and welcoming, making us feel like family. Their hospitality was unmatched, the free tour was so interesting, and they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The rooms were full of modern updates and well preserved history, and the food was absolutely incredible! Whether it was a traditional breakfast or a gourmet dinner, every meal was prepared to perfection. We couldn't have asked for a more unique and unforgettable getaway. Highly recommend! We're planning a return trip soon!

Middelalderslot med italiensk betjening

Problem at der kun tales italiensk.Svært at kommunikerer om selv simple ting. Kedelig morgenmad. Pænt værelse ærgelig der kun var engangskrus og man ikke fik nyt dagligt. Meget smuk beliggenhed.

Struttura meravigliosa appena riaperta dopo 8 anni di restauro. Grande pulizia, tutto curato nei minimi dettagli. La proprietà gestisce struttura e ristorante. Tutti cordiali e gentilissimi. Cena tra le mura del castello ottima. Abbiamo vissuto davvero una bellissima esperienza. Ambiente adatto anche per il nostro bimbo di 5 anni che si è sentito un cavaliere per un giorno

I have been to over 60 countries and uncountable hotels, however, this I will never forget and is on the top of my list. Rooms and super clean and has everything. Don't miss it out!!!
