Radisson Resort Plaza Skiathos

6/10 Okay

"The hotel itself it minimal & modern.which was lovely However our inland view was of a huge rock face absolutely no view at all so didn't inspire my husband and I to sit on the balcony on an evening. We ask if we could move several times but " no other rooms available apart from the next room which had the exact view !! The breakfast was cold EVERY morning, when the fresh items we're brought out of the kitchen ( egg's bacon etc ) they must have been pre prepared too soon & left to go cold , only when brought out to put under the heat lamps, having to warm up again. We did approach a staff member but said there's nothing they can do ! The reception staff were friendly but felt the hotel was lacking atmosphere. The location to the beach is perfect so a plus there ."

"The first 3 days I had no air conditioning. I moved to another room then for the last 3 days I had NO WIFY. I had stayed there a total of 8 days. As you can see I had 2 good days out of the 8. I will never stay there again. I kept asking for the wify and Nick (owner) kept saying he would check it. It did not work. The noise level was off the charts LOUD!!!"

"Beautiful gardens and pool area. Despite being next to the road it was very peaceful. Good selection at Breakfast. There is only one coffee machine which could lead to queues at peak times. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Close to bus stop 23 and for 3 euros you can get to Skiathos town and the airport. Bus can be very busy at peak times. The walks through the forest to numerous beaches are beautiful. A few good restaurants all within walking distance if you don’t have a car or want to venture into town. Would definitely recommend and stay here for longer next time! Bonus hearing Scops owls every night 😍"

"Maria the landlady was very reliable and helpful, she gave us every morning a nice breakfast and different every day , so nice. Place is quite close to everything as the island is very small. To Skiathos centre 15 min by car. The island worthy just because the beaches are amazing specially Lalaria and the North beaches."

"The hotel is situated on the side of a hill which offers great panoramic views across the bay. There are quite a number of steps if you are walking from the pool or bar and restaurant area so may not be suited with those with accessibility needs. We had a room which also included a shared pool with an adjoining appointment. The room itself was nice, It was clean and comfortable. The children were sleeping on the mezzanine above us which worked well however had caution younger children using this because the steps and ladders are very steep. The staff across the complex in particular the restaurants and bar staff were fantastic. Food at the restaurant was great and we ate there a couple of times, including the barbecue. Breakfast was a little disappointing as there wasn’t that much choice in terms of hot food. Would recommend walking into the restaurants and bars at the bottom of the hill as you come out of the hotel. Pork and roll specifically was one of our favourites. The beach is a 15 minute walk from the hotel down quite a steep path, again those with accessibility may struggle. It’s a nice beach though once you get down though."
