Good location relative to the ferry to Tobermory. Nothing special but sufficient. Provided a great take away breakfast early for our ferry ride!

Love the position for exploring. Excellent food. Check in and friendliness of the guy on the bar was very poor. Property in serious need of some TLC!

Top Unterkunft, gerne wieder.

We stayed here for two nights and everything went well. The breakfast was very good and was in a nice and very clean area. On our second morning we were made to really feel welcomed by the breakfast staff. Other than that we felt that the outside customers were prioritized over the actual guests of the hotel. It was a very nice place but not sure I would stay there again.

We had a lovely time at the Kilchoan Hotel, staying for a couple of nights whilst we explored the area. The room was spacious, clean and had comfortable beds that were very firm. The bathroom had recently been refurbished to a very high spec and the shower was excellent. The bar downstairs was welcoming, had a great selection of drinks including local whiskies. The food was great, with locally sourced produce but would love to see more seafood if it is available.

Recommend!

Very nice service and great view. We almost have only good things to say. The one negetive thing we found was that there were no wifi in the room and the beds were a bit to hard.

Disappointing stay.

Hotel looking a bit tired and very basic. Dinner was quite good but bar closed at 9pm with nowhere to go but to bedroom! Breakfast was basic with not a lot of choice. Very disappointed especially with the cost of the stay.

Brilliant area. Property looked on the outside looked unkept. Large, tall ash tray at entrance overflowing with cigarette ends.
