Stayed two nights, ate dinner in the restaurant one night and two breakfasts. Staff were always cheerful and helpful, rooms were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Parking is tricky to find but free and plenty of it once you get there. It’s off Abbey Close. Use OX14 3JD for satnav.

From the lovely welcome to leaving we could not fault our stay. Staff were fantastic and so friendly. The room was beautiful with lovely products in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The only niggle was the my husband said there was road noise in the early hours of the morning.

Lovely period hotel. Amazing staff. Breakfast delicious. Did have an issue with the type of room booked. Hotel very apologetic but said this was due to booking via Expedia. Would have given 5 stars otherwise.

We had a lovely relaxing one night stay, the room was well equipped, quiet, the bed comfortable and we had a really nice evening meal and breakfast, good menu choices for both too; my partner has complex allergies and the waiting staff were very respectful of the potential risks there, including remembering them at breakfast the next morning (same waitress) A++
