"My husband and I were driving to New Orleans with our small dog and chose this hotel to break up our trip. It was super convenient to the highway and there were several restaurants in easy walking distance (if you don’t mind crossing a regional highway) and a Walmart. We were greeted promptly by a polite and competent front desk clerk. The room was clean, spacious, and had a fridge. We felt comfortable and safe. We walked to Chili’s for dinner. We respect the fact that Motel 6 doesn’t load on ridiculous charges for pets. Our little dog sleeps in his crate and doesn’t bother anyone or chew the furniture. At Motel 6 he sleeps for free. YAY! It’s not a fancy hotel but it fulfills it’s mission very well!"
