Bauhaus stay

Great choice at breakfast. Room clean and quiet. Great location for city centre and exploring surrounding area. Staff friendly and accommodating. Would definitely use again.

Disappointing stay

Room was small, but nice decor and clean. Bed was very uncomfortable with lumpy springs. Breakfast took 25 minutes to arrive, and was lukewarm when it arrived. Ordered full breakfast but got no tomato or mushrooms as they'd 'ran out' despite there only being about 8 people eating. Had to ask for more apple juice, and when it came it was warm. Nobody asked if we enjoyed breakfast or our stay. Won't stay there again.

Bauhaus Hotel

This hotel is in a great location with good sized well equipped rooms. The shower is amazing. Breakfast superb and a great choice from the menu. Staff are attentive, extremely courteous & friendly. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Nice hotel, pity about there not being any free parking so £12.00 on NCP round the corner. Wifi didn't work in my room either meaning I couldn't do any work online Nice room though and breakfast was good so ok all in all.

Great place to stay

Great hotel, comfy bed, good breakfast. Only compliant, and it’s not big-parking was an issue. Had to park down the street in a parking garage, it was inexpensive but a little inconvenient. Overall, awesome place!

I just loved this hotel. It was so clean and the staff were so friendly. There is not an all day restaurant but it’s open for breakfast which was lovely. It’s very central for lots of bars and restaurants and has a limited bar with Brewdog Ales which are lovely and very local. The rooms were large and very clean and very up to date. Bedding was lovely. All in all I would definitely go back again

Vennegjeng på tur som trivdes godt

Koselig hotel med god standar. God seng og fint rom, litt dårlig med ventilasjon på rommet. Men løste seg med en fritstående airconditon som ga litt kjøligere luft. Ved frokosten hadde det helt generelle fremme, så kunne en bestille eventuelle varmmat. Varmaten virket som delere av var halvfabrikat. Men god standar.

Style over substance

This is a good modern hotel with a certain style, however some basic needs were falling short. The rooms were a good size but there was absolutely nowhere in the room to put away clothes or store/tidy away anything. No drawers, no cupboards or shelving that could be useful. We were also surprised to find out that the Main Bar and 'Kitchen/restaurant' were 'closed' and no longer operating within the Hotel. Therefore the Hotel reception was now functioning as a makeshift bar for guests. The staff were all extremely helpful to us and to assist us our questions throughout our stay and also during the breakfast service. The location was fine for us and convenient to Union Street and some Restaurants etc. We did find to our surprise that there was some considerable amounts of dust and dirt on the metal frame (Le Courbousier) chair backs in our room, plus some areas on the floor that looked like dirty shoe marks. Another minor disappointment was that there was a distinct lack of toiletries provided for over the 2 nights, we were given just one tiny Hair conditioner and a tiny wrapped piece of soap, between two of us! On the plus side the towels were lovely and thick and soft. Overall we felt that we had been mis-led to some degree by what information we were provided at the booking stage and from the Bauhaus website.
