"Disappointed that I was not notified that they had a wedding at the hotel as this affect my stay, no food being served at night and the poor staff was extremely busy, I had to go somewhere else to get a drink. "

It smelled musky and it clearly hadnt been cleaned ,the kitchen was not what was advertised, dirty pits,pand and cutlery. The carpets were dirty. And then to find our beds with mouse droppings on was the last straw.my family were in tears "

"I stay in a lot of hotels and I must say that this hotel is tired and in need of a makeover. The mattress on the bed was on its last legs you could feel every spring in it and when you sat on it you could feel the frame underneath. The paintwork behind the door handles needed cleaning as did the stair carpets. The food was good though and they had a five start food rating. I was the only person staying there on the one night and I don’t know if that is indicative. Would I stay there again? No I would not there are plenty of other hotels in the town to choose from "

"I am always well looked after here. Breakfast is excellent, the staff cheery, and the lunch/dinner menus offer some lovely options. The fish and chips are epic!"
