Unfortunately the description Hotels.com. used was inaccurate and we would not have booked the property. There is NO - on site parking as stated. On arrival the property is located at the end of a terrace of 5 houses down an uneven path and through 2 gates. "The house was beautiful and a perfect setting! We loved the blackberries in the garden, space for the bikes (although not secure), large rooms etc.. the double beds were pretty comfy, although the kids singles were a bit less comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, excellent modern cooker, doors could shut so you didn’t have to wake the house up having a coffee-all great! Only downside was the tv, the Amazon stick did not work so we had no smart functions or Netflix etc..all fine but...

"Hotel staff were lovely very welcoming and very helpful...a lady made sure she brought us fresh milk for the room and was really nice...thank you to her. Room was large with huge bathroom and big bath and excellent shower and spotlessly clean.. Beds were comfy as were pillows. 2 beds in the one room..a bed and a bed settee perfect for a family of 4...strangely only 2 cups for drinks. Hotel 10 mins from Corris craft centre which we were visiting. Had a lovely evening meal at the hotel..bit limited menu for kids but ok. Breakfast was included and this was the only area that let the hotel down...started at 8.30 and we were there at 8.35 ..only 2 people already there..to be told that they had only 1 sausage left....kind of a basic to have enough sausages for a full English brekkie..I get it maybe if we were last to go down and it had been busy but obvs they just hadnt got any in ready for brekkie...our grandson had it and obvs the staff were then having to tell every other guest as they ordered...heard a few people commenting how disappointing it was....very odd and have never come across this before. Overall apart from the breakfast experience the hotel was lovely."

"Fabulous from start to finish! Warm welcome from owner despite being an extremely busy evening. Room was beautifully decorated. Tastefully Welsh 😊 We ate in the very well maintained, pretty garden and the food did not disappoint. Slept extremely well, good quality beds and bedding. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Fab find, will visit again when going to the lake."

"Arrived 2 hours early as wanted to make the most of my stay in Barmouth. The owner said my room was ready and was allowed to check in early. Parking directly in front of the hotel Fantastic sea view what you can see without leaving your bed Fab location 2 mins walk from the main town and beach Cannot fault it Heads up to future bookers there is no lift so be prepared for stairs if on the 2nd floor and above. also the single room , not sure about the double, the shower is very small so would not suit a “larger” person."
