"An amazing place to stay, wonderful setting and experience staying in an ancient castle. With a great host who was welcoming, serving great breakfast, providing good recommandation for diner.
Note, we had an electric car and the owner was very accommodating and help us to charge the car every day."

"Fresh orange juice. Eggs from the owners chickens, wonderful Villa nestled in the vineyards of Bassan and 1.2 miles on a narrow road to the villa. Very private and charming. You must have a car to get anywhere from there. The owners are wonderful! Merci Fabrice et Lionel"

"Located in the centre of the old village of Autignac, the La Coquillade - Gite is a quaint group of accommodations around a courtyard with central swimming / plunge pool. Parking was on street but safe and our apartment was accessed through a small door off the street and through a covered passageway that we referred to as "the cave". This was a cool spot where you could sit to avoid the extreme summer heat. Although described as a two bedroom apartment, the second "room" was only separated...

"Quaint family run establishment in this lovely quiet area of France.
Rooms are cozy and comfortable and the husband and wife owners make you feel part of the family. An evening plat du jour meal is available and is always excellent and the local wine is a must.
Lots of wonderful walking is on your doorstep as well as around nearby Rouquebrun and the coast is not far away either. Also a perfect stopover on your way to/from the Spanish resorts."

"Although hotel deco was a little dated our room was kept spotlessly clean as were the public areas including grounds, pool and terrace which were tidy and daily maintained. Optional buffet breakfast was of typical French fair, popular items replenished on request, bakery items I believe were baked on premises. Also available were scrabbled eggs cooked to order. The was also a bar at reception offering canned and bottled drinks and ice cream to purchase during the day. All staff were polite and friendly, Maria and Christine were particularly welcoming and helpful, assisting with local recommendations and booking of taxi transport. The only gripe I have is having booked a no smoking room as none smokers, there weren’t any outside no smoking public areas so we had to sit amongst smokers at breakfast and any other times on the outside terrace, around the pool and gardens. Plus we had smoke drifting onto our private room terrace from neighbouring ones and found cigarette ash which could only have dropped from the Juliette windows of the supposedly non smoking room above ours!
I would recommend this hotel for the hospitality and small attention to details including their soft white towels but be more aware of the leniency towards the many smokers that seemed to also be holidaying whilst we were there"
"Staff are excellent. The room was clean and tidy. Air conditioning worked a treat and we like the fact there was a 'mini' kitchen in the room.
We've been here before, and would readily come again if the opportunity arises."
"Amazing family-friendly hotel with an impressive attention to details from decoration to experience! Nice and clean rooms with good air-conditioning in both bedrooms and the living room. Good kitchen with dishwasher - the hotel provides tablets. Downsides are only 4 chairs inside although the room accommodates 6 persons. The bathroom was a bit dark, could need brighter lighting. Outdoor terrace was great with table and grill for barbeque - you need to bring your own coal.
Very attentive and helpful staff when we had problems with the TV and missed a sunshade on the terrace. Free parking. Great that the hotel provides free shuttle (large golf car) to the beach.
Awesome pirate themed water park! We think it's better suited for families with children up to 12 years due to that it's not very large and the slides are not many or tall. NB. they require special bathing wear - swimsuit, bikini or swimming trunks, no swim shorts. At the day of check-out you're allowed to stay in the water park while the hotel stores your luggage.
In all, great hotel with great service - we'd be delighted to come back!"
