「If you are looking to stay at the Italy Inn, you should know that it is the upstairs of a large convenience store. Not much there in ways of amenities or scenery, but it will do in a pinch. Room was clean and inexpensive. We were staying there for a local bike ride in Italy, Texas. Far from luxury, but good enough to get the job done」

「Booed tis room for the three queen beds and indoor pool and hot tub. When we arrived they told us the pool was being serviced!!! big disappointment to my grandsons. Then as the evening went on, we kept discovering bugs in the room (crickets maybe). Seven in all that were visible! We would have liked to pack up and leave but my husband was in a lot of pain from back surgery. W got up early and left...did not use the shower - just left. So disappointing.」

「Nice large room. Clean. Grandchild loved the pool. Just had to be careful the floor was slippery but to be expected.」

「Absolutely disgusting. Stains on the sheets and towels. Floors were wet. Manager seemed shocked when I said I would not stay here and asked for a refund. Do not stay here. I’m surprised the health department hasn’t shut this hovel down.」

「Nice hotel, but housekeeping shouldn’t be cleaning right outside of your room at 8:30 in the morning so in other words, there’s no way you’re gonna be able to sleep in.」

「Nicest hotel in the area. Clean and beds were comfy. Friendly staff. Didn't get to try the restaurant, but the food other guests were munching in looked really good. There are a lot of homeless people in the area. We didn't have any issues during this stay, but we have had completely unprovoked hostile encounters with them in this area in the past.」
