Room was clean but had silverfish or something king of bug found in the washroom. Outside seems to have more and more crime attention than before. Great hotel and staff well still return for stays.

The first thing I noticed was the back on the office chair at the desk was loose. Looking under, it needs four large screws to be secure. There was just one relatively close to being tightened, and one about to fall out. Dangerous. Next I noticed the cupboard door under the kitchen sink was in a similar state - all of the screws were loose and it was about to fall off. The doorknob to the door between the bedroom and bathroom was also very loose, and it tended to lock when closing it. In the bathroom, one of the two lights above the sink was out. Too dim for close work for sure. Walking my dog in the parking lot, we noticed an adjacent property with about seven dumpsters, all overflowing onto the ground. That's when we noticed a dead rat in the parking lot of the hotel. Yuk. For this much money, I expected way more. Sorry for them, I will not be back.

The reservation booked with Expedia did not transfer over to the front desk. We were given a room that was not as booked and had to request a change which staff did promptly. We did not get our room serviced because we did not put the card on the door. This should have been highlighted to us at check in.

Not sure if the rooms vary, but the king "suite" we had was awful. Reeked of cigarettes (especially the furniture and drapes), in need of a deep clean and really in need of renovation. Pics online are very deceiving. Once you look closely it's dated, dirty, and the whole hotel smells of cooking food. Booked 2 nights, left after 1.

The stay at this hotel was great as usual however it took over 25 minutes to get checked into the room due to low staff. Other than that it was a great stay.

Building was under renovation, and there was quite a mess throughout the hallways. Unit that we stayed in was not particularly clean, had a weird smell. The staff at the front counter seem like they weren’t sure what they were supposed to be doing, and did not provide the best service upon check in

Had a 1BR suite on the fourth floor. It was very nice - balcony, fireplace, full kitchen.. even a washer dryer!
