This hotel is not at all what you see in the photos. You expect to stay in a nice old manor and you don’t, you stay in a building g adjacent to the manor. The room was small and hot. On the way there I rolled my ankle badly and they refused to let us have any ice because the ice machine was turned off for the day. The morning breakfast is limited and not very good. The coffee was good. The only good thing is it’s close to Harry Potter studios, but you have to take an Uber or taxi to get to it. No restaurants or stations nearby for drinks or snacks.

Very pleasant indeed. Very nice staff. Good breakfast. well equipped and very clean rooms. Quiet peaceful location, yet just three minutes to the M25, (non-rush hour) and less than 10 mins to the M1.

I liked the garden and walking around the garden. The breakfast was good and good value for money. The pool was closed and couldn't swim.

Great looking property and clean fresh rooms spoilt only by the overwhelming smell of chlorine in the rooms (our room was over the pool). Room was hot and AC didn't really help. Dining room was uncomfortable and tired looking (and what hotel doesn't offer decaf coffee for goodness sake!). Pool was warm and clean but decor was very shabby and dimly lit, possibly to detract from the tiles coming away from the ceiling? That said it is a 3 star establishment and my expectations should be proportionally lower. Friendly staff, notably Olivia on the desk.

The room was fine but the hotel wing layout isn’t very conducive. The main building is generally unavailable other than corporate/special events. The breakfast was appalling - so bad that the charge was cancelled.

This is very well located hotel for Harry Potter world. The hotel inside is rather tired looking and in much need of a lick of paint and new upholstery. The kitchen was under refurb? so the food was limited. I ordered a brown bread chicken and sun-dried tomato sandwich, it arrived as white bread when i queried it I was told there was no brown bread left and offered a drink on the house as compensation (nice) but I later found out by asking the morning staff during breakfast there had be no shortage of brown bread. I concluded they couldn't be bothered to remake my sandwich. The staff were always polite and friendly especially the male receptionist.

We had a lovely stay at Hunton Park hotel. A 5 minute drive to The Harry Potter Studios which made the whole trip really convenient and enjoyable. The buffet breakfast was lovely with a good range of options to suit all needs. The highlight was the pool and we were happy that we were able to access it despite the signage suggesting there were swimming lessons taking place. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting the area.

My stay here was fantastic and Hunton Park has the BEST staff! On my second night, I faced complications with the sink in the bathroom. The receptionist personally assisted with the sink and offered to move me to a new room down the hall. I faced the same issue in the next room and the receptionist was right there to assist. The receptionist went above and beyond to accommodate and upgrade my new room at no charge to me. All the staff members I met were fantastic and so kind. My stay was great! They go above and beyond!

I did not like the fact that I paid £41 for a simple bottle of white wine. I thought this was well over the odds. The Hotel itself was lovely in an ideallic setting and the staff were quite helpful albeit stressed as the Hotel was clearly overbooked judging by their conversations.

Waste of money
Very disappointed with our stay, I had splashed out to have a night in a historic building at a high quality hotel and what we instead received was a night in a modern building near a historic building. The room was an adequate size though nothing special, and had a number of structural features showing disrepair - there was a hole in the floorboards under the carpet that my partner tripped on and the door to the bathroom didn't close fully even when pulling it firmly. There was an issue with the hot water on the day we checked in which meant neither of us could shower before dinner. This did get repaired the same day but not for the 2 hours we were there before going to dinner. Before we left we visited the swimming pool which was in a room with holes missing from the ceiling and only had a single ikea stool to sit on which was soaking wet with condensation and rusty at the feet. A number of features outside the room were also in disrepair, we noticed a broken window in the hallway near our room, the electric front doors were not activated (making them very heavy and difficult to open for my partner who is unable to lift heavy items due to medical issues), and there was a fire door on the basement level which was unable to be closed due to how it was hanging on the frame. Overall very dissapointed with our visit. Fine for a travel lodge but not what i would expect for an expensive hotel

Not worth the money. Would not stay again.
Not worth the money at all. Swimming pool closed for lessons when you want to use it- why advertise that it has a pool when you can barely use it except after 7pm? No fridge in room. You're not in the main Manor house as indicated here- instead you're in a back area/side building. Walls everywhere needed a re paint, the place looked very tired. Only 2 coffee satchets in the stand so had to go off and find member of staff for more. No attention to detail and no customer focus or consideration.

We are currently investing heavily into the hotel and have recently changed all the carpets and are due to both decorate all areas and change the bedroom doors that have not been changed. Hopefully this will have the desired impact we wish.
