"Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. "Fanny and Lola were amazing on reception and helped us out with many things. Excellent English and excellent customer service. Room very clean and hotel seemed very modern. Parking was difficult due to road works but Lola helped us out with excellent alternative directions. Good comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent including a fresh orange juicer. Hot choices and the usual French continental options which were extensive. Would highly recommend without hesitation."
