Cape York Peninsula 5 Stars Hotels

"Welcoming staff were really friendly and helped out about directions to different buildings. However, room service was terrible. iPad menu in the room went blank, so had to order room service by phone and waited more than an hour. Eventually we had to cancel it because it was running too late and we had to go out. Booked 2 bedroom suites, the carpet in the living room smells really bad and been allergic throughout the stay. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Non wonder why the room always has a moist smell. Also, the A/C was really loud and bad air quality. Lighting in the room is also really dark. The design was meant to create a vibe but not suitable for everyone. There should be adjustments that we can choose to make the room lighter."

"Stayed here 15 years ago and not much changed. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows flat. Buffet was really great However, was disappointed with the overall quality of this hotel, didn’t seem to meet up to a Hilton standard we find in other places around the world."

"Great location and view if marina facing . Spacious rooms .Good breakfast and club lounge ( great service from Vivian ) Also room service Daisy and Winnie. Certain parts of this resort like facility look a bit dated but most other 5 star hotels in Cairns I noted had similar look . Overall good value for money and would stay again . "

"One cannot fault the property itself.. Extremely good location, very friendly staff and the property in itself was beautiful. However, the apartment looked dated. We were disappointed not to get a balcony, but I understand that Easter school holidays were a busy period. The two swimming pools were lovely albeit very cold. "
