"We stood at the Vermonter. It was our first family 2024 Trip and we wanted something different than our usual summer vacation. The place was beautiful, with the most amazing view you can wake up and go to sleep looking at. "We did not like the food choices. Was surprised by the undisclosed report fee reveled at checkout. Extreme distance from lobby to room. Otherwise, lovely property friendly staff and wonderful outdoor environment. "

"Staff were friendly and accommodating but the property itself needs a refresh. This was our 4th stay and we have always really enjoyed The Essex Resort but found the property looking tired. "
