"We stood at the Vermonter. It was our first family 2024 Trip and we wanted something different than our usual summer vacation. The place was beautiful, with the most amazing view you can wake up and go to sleep looking at. I brought in my puppy and it was just a perfect week, there’s lots of food options within 10-15 Mins driving, a park 2 mins away walking distance. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the stay. "Staff were friendly and accommodating but the property itself needs a refresh. This was our 4th stay and we have always really enjoyed The Essex Resort but found the property looking tired. "

"Unique location, lodge and rooms have character. Quick drive to whiteface mountain. The restaurant has a good vibe and was packed on Saturday night. Kids liked the game room. Staff was helpful when we needed some extra service in the room. "
