"We just enjoyed the best two nights here! We loved learning about the history of the Inn and the place is so well preserved. The innkeeper and chef were very friendly and accommodating. "Huge well appointed room. Incredible breakfast. Host was very accommodating to guest needs, as many of us had to be up early for UVA graduation. "Desiree and Stephan are quite the hosts! They catered to all our needs and anticipated them. We were welcome with a delicious wine tasting and charcuterie board. The house is beautifully decorated and the grounds delightful. Breakfasts were a treat as Stephan has a background as a chef. Of note, Stephan is quite entertaining and his stories could easily be a standup comedy show! We will definitely be back!"

"Sleeping quarters great, husband had to shovel snow on spa deck and porch. Spa cover was broken and hard to put on and off. Hole in LR couch, tried to keep covered with a pillow. Very convenient to lodge, kitchen very adequate for meals, we all had a great weekend!! Would definitely recommend for rental!"
