"The Yellow House is a wonderful B and B for a relaxing weekend. The owner is very conscientious and his breakfasts reflect that. There was always hot coffee available in the mornings and snacks, including home made cookies, during the day. The house is very clean and well kept. Our bed was a little small and therefore, I found it hard to sleep well. The next time we stay here I would request a room with a larger bed. I would definitely return for a weekend here. "

"Bathroom shower was not safe for older adult. Very slippery tub, nothing to hold onto getting in and out of shower. On second floor so could hear people above us. Room was like a great apartment. Downtown location was wonderful, but parking was 1.5 blocks away with tight parking spaces."

"Gorgeous home away from home, beautifully adorned. Breakfast was as wonderfully presented as it was delicious. We definitely intend to return! Proprietor Diana Thornton was attentive and knowledgeable. She clearly loves owning a B&B and attending to her guests!"

"At the time of booking a bed-and-breakfast I thought that breakfast would be included and be prepared by cook. But I got breakfast in a bag in refrigerator to take to my room. If I would’ve known prior to booking the bed and breakfast I would’ve not to stay there."

"We could not recommend highly enough. Willy and Shoney are great hosts. Three-course breakfasts were amazing. Homemade cookies set out as take-aways every day. Free glasses of wine on the porch in the evening. Wonderful live music included on Saturday night. On-point advice about what to do around Asheville. All in a beautiful and historic home. I don't know what they could do to make it better. Just a fantastic place to stay."

"Super cute and trendy (in a good way)! Large rooms with high ceilings, lovely bathrooms with yummy soaps. Wonderful staff! Easy to walk to entertain venues or a quick drive elsewhere. Highly recommend!!! "

"The room was a nice size with 2 glider chairs, a desk and queen bed and room to move around!! The breakfast was delicious and very filling. The grounds with a mountain view were great for sitting and relaxing, in the morning we were lucky to see a ground hog sitting up in the yard. Brenda and Peter were the perfect hosts with being there if you needed anything. "
