"Good overall suburban hotel. Only one thing I will ding them on - 8 am housekeeping knock. Seriously??? Most people aren’t up. I was but dumbfounded by such an early interruption. "

"The customer service at the hotel was excellent especially the door person was very customer orientated and was very helpful to all especially myself and my wife in terms of transportation and what was going on and how to get there so I really want to say good things about that person who was at the door ,an African-American gentleman. "

"The room was pretty average. Old was expected since it was a historic building. However, the room could use some tidy-up (leaky faucet, empty hair cap box) and more cleaning. The location and the ambience were GREAT! Even with the room conditions being okay, I’d def stay at this hotel again. Restaurants, bars, shops and other attractions are in walking distance or just a short drive, including the minor league ballpark in Allentown. Felt safe at night too. "

"We loved our 3 days staying here. Our room on the ground floor was large, well appointed and comfortable. The bed was great as was the bed linen. The bathroom bench has lots of room to put toilet bags on. The room was very clean. The grounds were lovely and the restaurant great. We visited several wonderful local gardens. The only drawback was the unreliable internet. This was very frustrating but hopefully fixed by now."

"Service is top notch. Owners and staff are very friendly and aim to please. It snowed one night when we were there. Upon waking in the morning, the parking lot was plowed of course, but they even shoveled between each car! Breakfasts are wonderful. Rooms very comfortable. We enjoyed the afternoon cookies and the surprise nightcap. You cannot help but enjoy your stay. You will feel like you gained new friends/family."
