West End 3 Stars Hotels

"The best server of all the 5 stars several hotels we stayed all over the world: was Ferdinand, he is very kind, respectfull and alert. We can see he loves his job. A great asset for Holiday Inn. He made our breakfast time very pleasent and the best part of our vacation days. Delicious oatmeal, sugar free syrup, boill eggs if you ask.The black old driver of shuttle with gray eyes very kind. Delicious 6 big pieces of chicken Nashville style with celery, carrots and many tasty sauces for only $16. Good job of house keepers. Golf course car and shuttle service to 7th/Broadway convenient. Walking distance to Parthenom, nails and hair saloon, Walgreens and Vanderbilt University. Room for improvements: We didn't understand a word of the old white shuttle driver and unkind, the short Indian (?) receptionist never smile, extemely unkind. No safety box, no even small gym, bad country music singers. No veggies with meat in buffet breakfast food, only pork shop. Breakfast buffet included but needs more variety, to be different each day. "

"Check in process was quick and easy. The hotel was in a great location. Room was exactly what we needed for a single night on our drive through. Only complaint is the pool was very cold. Almost too cold for our kids."

"Rooms clean Staff friendly There was water interruption that we were made aware of in tower 1. But we did not know that it was construction that was happening right next door. It was loud and we did not sleep at all. "

"Overall, a good stay. We were only there 2 nights and spend most of the time out, but the room itself was nice and clean. Having the kitchen area was great because we were coming from an air b&b and had extra groceries left over. The room bathroom did have a slight sewer-ish smell to it. We noticed when we first got in the room but didn’t smell it the next morning so we didn’t say anything. Then it was back. Not strong, but noticeable. The breakfast was not the best. Only hot options were egg, French toast, and turkey sausage, none of which were great or even very hot. The fruit was fresh and pastries were OK. Staff was very friendly and the valet was efficient. We took advantage of the shuttle service which was nice. We wanted to enjoy the outdoor pool but it was closed (seasonal?)"
