"The residence is nice with great views of the lake and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Our one recommendation would be to provide better basic essentials in the kitchen area. A large frying pan or cooking griddle would have been very helpful, and we actually bought and left a few kitchen scratch scrubbers for cleaning pots and pans. "

Our only major hiccup was that the hosts provided ZERO communication, both prior and during our stay, and after numerous attempts to reach them. "The cottage was perfect for our trip. The bunk bed with a trundle was great for the teens while the adults were comfortable in the other two bedrooms (we didn’t have need for the Murphy bed in the living room, but if we had a larger group, it was another sizable bed! "Paula was really good at communicating with me. The dining/living area were comfortable with plenty of space. The kitchen was decent and nicely equipped. Location was good for us. There was an additional small living room that was good for reading and relaxing. A small window air and a fan in one of the bedrooms was not enough to handle heat/humidity while there.
