"The King’s Throne is a far better option than a sterile Motel/Hotel option. Landon is a wonderful host and the house itself is great example of fin de ciècle architecture and how it was presented in middle class America at the time. You will never see quarter-sawn wainscoting and crown moulding like this in a conventional rental. "Top priority, comfortable bed - check. Convenient location, just a couple minutes off Rt 23. Super accommodating desk clerk (Janette), who fixed our reservation for us - I swear we reserved a king bed, but we got two queens - anyway, she moved us. She also recommended several places to eat, and Inside the Five Brewery was excellent. Sylvania is a pretty town, we will stay here again."

"I liked how it was within walking distance from several things downtown. It also overlooks the river and lots of colors shining at night. Parking was easy, except if there is a hockey or baseball game going on. We ended up using valet parking which worked well. Overall, great place to stay in downtown Toledo. "

"The hotel was very clean, current and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was the pillows were small and not firm. That could be personal liking but I needed several pillows to be able to lay comfortably."

"We reserved a Suite for 5 adults and 2 toddlers. It was perfect. The rooms and bathrooms were super clean. Staff incredibly friendly. Breakfast was delicious. And the outdoor area was a huge plus. If I had to say one thing I would change: the pool was chilly. "

"The property was easy to get to off of the freeway and was surrounded by places to shop and eat. Staff were very friendly and it truly felt like they happy you were there. Facilities are clean but you could tell that it is on the older side. Nothing out of repair or anything, just the decor. Rooms are small but not unmanageable. Bed was moderately comfortable.
