"My husband and I stayed at the Kubu Lodge for 11 nights. The staff and owners, Nicole and Manfred, were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and kept clean. "Property is nice and well kept. But.... the power went off 2 hours after we arrived. No lights, no wifi, no water. Once the sun was up I found instructions for turning the cold water on if the power goes out, so we at least got toilets working. "Gorgeous lodge near Kruger with a pottery workshop on site. Bring your own dinner and you can relax around the fire at night and listen to the hyenas. Excellent breakfast and one morning an elephant appeared at the pond. Great service, lovely pool and friendly staff. If you are lucky the architect - Tom- May tell you the history of this beautiful spot. Our favourite in 2 months. "
