「The listing shows beach access, but it's not... you have to walk 500 meters. We went out at night and the gate was closed. Miraculously, another guest explained how to open it. In the morning, I was woken up because my car was blocking another guest's exit, and it wasn't even my car.」

「Very close to the beach. Quiet neighbourhood. Amazing staff! Great breakfast」

「Upon arrival we were impressed by the look and charm of the hotel, but quickly encountered issues. Our room had a serious mould problem; not a superficial mould that needs a quick spray and wipe, but the kind of long-term damp issue that leaves the wall plaster crumbling away and the room smelling musty. The fridge in the room also didn't work. We therefore asked for a new room and this request was quickly facilitated, but if it had been high season and the hotel full I don't know how they would...

「Excellent stay and wonderful staff We had a great stay at Hotel Valdiola. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We received a baby cot free of charge for our daughter, and there were no extra costs for her during our stay. A special thank you to Renato at reception, who kindly prepared warm water every evening for our baby's bottle. We also want to compliment the housekeeping team – the room was cleaned perfectly every day. The hotel is not the newest, but it is very well maintained...

「The hotel was clean and well maintained. The grounds were beautiful and kept in prestige conditions. In relation to the food served, it was excellent, fresh and a joy to consume. Saying this, it would have been nice to have been able to order single dishes in the evening as what is provided is a four course meal which is sometimes just too much. A local free bus to San Teodoro 4 times a day is provided however there is literally no taxi service unless you are willing to pay 55EUR for 4km...
