「Check in was easy and the desk clerk very helpful. She put us in a room with a lovely view of the river and gave us coupons for breakfast for both days of our stay and it was a lovely breakfast buffet with many options. The on-site bar and restaurant were both very welcome choices in the unusually high heat; allowing us to avoid going out. They advertise that the rooms are being refurbished as part of their 100th anniversary. The furniture in ours had probably not yet been replaced, but it...

「Not even close to any previous stays at Marriott properties. Very disappointed. Bathroom amenities lacking, e.g. no hand or body lotion. No complimentary breakfast served. Al la Carte prices for breakfast seemed high. Room layout made it impossible to cozy up in bed and watch TV. Meanwhile when I signed on to WiFi it stated no internet available. What??」
