"This is a different type of hotel. The setting is like an apartment courtyard. Not too many extras. It is very nice with plenty of parking. The office is only manned during daytime hours so if you are a late arrival you need to make arraignments. The room itself is excellent. Has a living area, kitchen area microwave, toaster, stove, fridge, dishes ect. Has a spacious bathroom and a nice bedroom. Note that housekeeping is weekly vice daily and that includes fresh towels. "I stayed at the Boxley while bicycle touring from Charlottesville to Richmond. The staff was amazing and accommodated my unusual arrival time, was flexible about storing my bike safely, helped me figure out dinner in the area, and arranging breakfast. I loved it!"

"Stayed in the General Jackson cottage. Room was very clean. The king size bed and jacuzzi were amazing. Had live entertainment at the the pub that night, will be back in the future."
