「We stayed here for a night & checked out early in the next day for whale watching. Breakfast for taken away was only biscuit and 2 bananas. Location is good and near to beach. Room was comfortable with hot shower. Hotel staffs were nice but poor communication between them. We called the hotel the day before we check-in and asked for an extra room for our driver, the staff told us we could pay a bit more and would arrange it for us. However, when we checked-in in the evening, the reception knew...

「Our 7 days at DCanal were lovely, it’s very peaceful, tucked away in the back streets. The free tuk tuk service to the town was very helpful. The pool, the staff, and the beaches nearby were a wonderful place to unplug. 」

「We were really looking forward to staying at Green Villa but upon arrival they said there was a problem with the room and they were completely booked so had to book us in a hotel next door. The place next door was dirty and only half as nice. I went back when I saw they had availability the next 3 nights and they were able to put us in a ground floor room (I paid for a balcony) but it was still nice. 「We stayed for three nights with our 1 year old baby. The staff are excellent, so welcoming, and attentive and really enjoyed playing with our son. We had a sea view room, the view is beautiful, and the bathroom and shower were excellent - you can see the sea from the shower! The staff provided a lovely wooden cot which was perfect for our son. The cot fit next to the bed and the bed’s mosquito net covered the cot. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were very accommodating of our child’s needs....

「Nice view thru window. Close to the beach, good for sunset view. Anyone can go without a charge. Clean room and supplied cookers as home stay. Dining market at beach 2km away. Bike rental friendly, five minutes walking to the rental and take me back to hotel after returning. Half hour driving to dock for wacthing whales」

「Excellent location (right inside Galle Fort) and value for money. The owners were really welcoming, nice and helpful. B&B located in a smaller street of the Fort, thus providing calm. Room with a large bed, A/C, mosquito net and small balcony. We definitely recommend it! We got our breakfast in another hostel managed by the owners.」

「Very decent hotel!! Hiru who runs the place is helpful and a nice guy. As was his father who offers a taxi service via a car or a tuktuk. The food in the rooftop bar was lovely. Particularly the breakfast which is included in the price of the hotel. 」
