"Nice location. Staff was excellent. The room however was not. The door key would not work numerous times and even with the replacement it was still giving me trouble. The shower I cannot even begin to understand to this writing what that was? Very cumbersome and for some they will be very confused how to operate it. Be aware of the $40 parking fee. Kids were nice that worked there and it's close to get to the nearby shops and restaurants so you won't need an Uber to have dinner and a drink. "

"We chose this accommodation for our first trip as a family with our 7-month old baby. The suite was perfect for our needs: well-equipped kitchen, large room that fit our play pen easily, comfy bed, etc). The indoor pool was very warm and great for rainy days with our little one and the location was amazing considering that it was April and we mostly went for walks in town and on the Marginal Way (rather than spend all day at the beach with a lot of gear). The walls are not the most soundproof...

"The sheets on our bed were so old they are falling apart and don’t fit the bed anymore. It was aweful. And I payed for a 2 queen bed room suite and got a king."

"Reserved 3 queen beds, got 1 king and 1 queen and a sleeper sofa. King bed was so uncomfortable my wife couldn't sleep in it and moved to couch. "

"The bed was so cozy and comfortable! Snacks and coffee were available in the lobby 24/7. Walkable to the downtown area. We loved The Sailmaker and will stay here if we visit Portsmouth again!"
