"Nice hotel and everything’s fine. Just a couple of oddities: 1) This was a prepaid. However, as is typical, an incidentals hold was placed for $100. Little steep but maybe customary for this area. However, front desk agent handed me back my card and said this fee was declined. Knowing there was no way there could be a problem w the card, I asked him to please try again. Great place to stay
"Love this little quaint hotel in St. Petersburg with such a rich history. Everything was great including the continental breakfast. The only issue we had during our stay on the balcony was locking the main door with the security latch and going out the balcony doors that we couldn’t open from the outside due to the over painted door handle, it wouldn’t turn to open the door. We had to have the maintenance guy come down and help us essentially break into our own hotel room. Other than that, we only stayed one night but wish we could’ve stayed longer. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future stays in the area. "
