"The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. "

"This trip was for my kiddo’s 14th birthday! She wants to be a national park ranger when she grows up, so what better place to take her than the great Smokey mountains! In saying that, I wanted to find somewhere that would be fun and different. When we came across Gorgeous Stays I knew we must book it! I went back and fourth because they had so many options to stay in however, we decided to go with the schoolie bus which was decorated in all national park decor. It was perfect! Scott and Wendi...

"Location is hard to find in dark, but loved it. Very peaceful except for neighbors barking hound dogs. Truly enjoyed staying there. 6-10 miles for food or groceries. Scenic ride or drive to get there. "

"I loved the cabin, it was great. I did not like the road leading up to the cabin. It was bad, trying to make the turn into the driveway leading to the cabin was really bad!"

"The cabin is an apartment. Like 10 guest to a cabin. Had a hard time parking because of all the construction lumber piled up in the parking lot. Also no electrical outlets in the bathroom. ☹️"

"This cabin was amazing! The bed was comfy. Lots of room in the cabin with nice little touches. Especially loved the fairy box! Cabin is at the end of a dirt road and is very peaceful, and close to neighboring towns for groceries and dining, as well as the tail of the dragon. Host is very responsive and friendly. Would defining stay again!! "

"Extremely clean and well equipped cabin. The mile plus drive in was terrifying with blind hills, sheer drop offs and tight turns. We could not come back after dark because of the drive being so scary. We left a day early because the driveway was so nerve wracking. The cabin was great though. Just not for the faint of heart."

"This is a cute little cabin -- maybe 300 square feet total, on a little bluff right by the main house. The (really friendly) owner told me that the property was designed by a European couple. The Scandinavian influence is evident. I do wish the cabin had a separate vanity area -- the only sink is the one in the kitchenette. I also could have done w/ some blinds on the house side at least, but I do appreciate the aesthetic. I would definitely stay there again!"

"What a beautiful setting! The interior of the cabin was immaculately clean, and our king bed was very comfortable. The internet was good, there were generous closets for hanging clothes and storing luggage. The kitchen had pretty complete sets of tools and dishes. There were thoughtful touches throughout the cabin."
