「The view is stunning!! It has a really nice pool with comfy seats. The hotel itself is relaxing and quiet. There is a ton of history and it’s so interesting to read about it. The rooms look old-fashioned, but it’s part of the vibe. It was nice that they had coffee and muffins every morning, and you could go out on the big giant porch and just sit and relax and look at the ocean as you drink your coffee. 」

「Absolutely loved this place. It’s like the perfect cross between B&B and hotel. The staff was delightful. We really enjoyed the speakeasy in the basement (hi Jim!). We met so many fellow travelers there. The location is perfect. Portsmouth is a great town, totally walkable, very safe and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend staying here」

「We attended a wedding at the hotel from the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and inviting. The grounds provided plenty of seating areas for sitting quietly or with family. Our grandson loved the children's club an unexpected bonus. Latitudes was a great place for lunch as was marketplace for coffee. Our room was excellently appointed. Loved that we could walk into town and avoid the traffic. Overall just a great place to stay.」

「Room was very comfortable and clean. Cleanest hot tub I’ve ever been in. My only complaint was when I took a shower it went to freezing cold to scolding hot in the middle of it. Staff was exceptionally friendly.」
