"It’s very closer to the airport and free shuttle. But not shuttle pick up at the railroad. "

"Flew into anchorage late, so this hotel was convenient and in a safe area to stay the night in before driving a few more hours to my destination the following day. "

"The location is great and the rooms are so nice! The parking is down behind the building and to check in you have to walk up and around the building. It was dark when we arrived but it was still easy to figure out. "

"Jewel Lake was a house style Bed and Breakfast. You make your own breakfast, but the kitchen was stocked well. Our room was in the basement with steep stairs so I don’t recommend those rooms for older travelers. There are rooms on the main floor of the house. Clean and comfortable. We would recommend for a short stay. Most people use it for cruise layover time. We took an Uber into Anchorage and did a tour which was fun too. "
