「The room wasn’t clean and the property not updated but the staff was nice and the breakfast was good」

「Unique historic building with meticulously updated rooms, and beautifully restored public areas. Bar area was intimate and comfortable, with great drinks and good food. Downside was the HVAC system that was extremely loud when it kicked on. Also would have appreciated coffee in the room, but there was a coffee bar set up downstairs which was appreciated.」

「I checked in and got my room on the third floor. The minute I walked off the elevator, the smell was overwhelming. A very strong musty smell. The room was ok with the smell, but still there. I never check beds when I stay in a hotel, but I checked this one. There were stains on the mattress protector. Lots of hair was also found on the mattress protector. The pillows were yellow with stains. The curtain was ripped and a huge water stain was on the curtain as well. I couldn't stand to stay there....

「Everything was great! Bed could have been better.. we had a king that sunk in the middle. Definitely needs to be updated with a fresh coat of paint. The bar was beautiful and the bartender was very helpful in planning what to do in the area. We would go back for sure! Absolutely beautiful scenery.」
