「It was a wonderful stay. Will definitely go again. Deer had a path they walked daily past our balcony. Amenities were extremely accessible. Rooms were quiet. My only complaint, cleaning needs a bit more detailed work (hand rails on stairs were gross), but otherwise it was perfect! 」

「My husband and I try to come up to Sutter Creek three or four times a year and we will always check Hotel Sutter for a room before looking anywhere else. We love the old building, the friendly staff, the restaurant and the bar. Strolling the main street and visiting all the local shops.」

「Here with three friends for girls getaway. Love the property, close proximity to town, walkability, parking. Loved the grounds. No full length mirrors in room, nor hangars for clothing. Because part of the building is from the 1800's, the renovations have "piped in air-con" with was through a vent in the window, but it did work.」

「We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. 「The property was great for a girls weekend in the wine country. Definitely more suitable for sleeping 6, can't imagine 8 adults would be comfortable. The communication was great. There are just a few simple touches that would make it a 5 star stay, such as adult sized bath towels, stocked toliet paper, and a full set of wine glasses (since it's the wine country).
