「Here with three friends for girls getaway. Love the property, close proximity to town, walkability, parking. Loved the grounds. No full length mirrors in room, nor hangars for clothing. Because part of the building is from the 1800's, the renovations have "piped in air-con" with was through a vent in the window, but it did work.」

「We loved our stay at The Hanford House. The rooms are very nice, clean and beautiful. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. The added morning delivery of fresh baked scones to your door with fresh coffee is such a well thought out addition. We will definitely stay here everytime we visit our family in Sutter Creek!」

「Very nice property in a great location in the center of a very welcoming little town. Room was small, but had all conveniences and then some. In-house restaurant was excellent. Breakfast does not start until 8:30, not convenient for travelers getting an early start.」

「We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. 「The property was great for a girls weekend in the wine country. Definitely more suitable for sleeping 6, can't imagine 8 adults would be comfortable. The communication was great. There are just a few simple touches that would make it a 5 star stay, such as adult sized bath towels, stocked toliet paper, and a full set of wine glasses (since it's the wine country). 「It’s a very nice and cozy house in a quiet location. We saw deer walking around everyday. The owner replies message every quickly. No gap in communication. Everything is new, clean and well prepared. The house is decorated with all Christmas elements, even prepared a box for kids to make their own Christmas tree decorations. It’s about 40min driving distance to Dodge Ridge Ski resort. 15min to Twain Harte Grocery Market. Overall highly recommended.」
