「We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Winston-Salem while visiting for a local tournament. The room was clean, comfortable, and appeared recently renovated. While some of the finishes weren’t perfect, they were still well done overall. The hotel seemed fully booked, so it did get a bit noisy at times, as sound carried through the walls and doors. 「The photos look like they remodeled it, but all they did really was slap some paint on stuff. Hallways have strong perfume smell, but as soon as you open your room you are hit with a musty odor which was unpleasant. It was pretty dirty, mold in the bathroom, dirty floors, old toilet seat, there was balled up toilet paper in the peep hole of the door, the WiFi didn’t work on my laptop so I was unable to work which caused frustration.
