"The cottage itself was cute and if properly cleaned and maintained it would have been wonderful. The floor/tiles in one bathroom were loose, in the other bathroom the floor felt "squishy" and there were multiple broken/cracked shelves in the shower. Two of the burners on the stove did not work and when using the stove/oven there was smoke. The window when opened to alleviate the smoke would not stay open. "Unfortunately, our room was not up to our standards. The bathrooms were not fully cleaned and the air conditioning went out twice. The day we came in (July 20, 2023), the upstairs units were 78 degrees and blowing warm air. Maintenance was called and showed up. We were told that it was repaired. It took several hours for those units to cool down. Because check in is 4:00, it took hours for these rooms to cool down to make sleeping comfortable. "The property was easy to find but the room took a minute. We had to drive around and figure out where the pool was and what it was called. A map would make it easier to find. The condo was gorgeous and very spacious. The second bedroom air wasn’t working and it was VERY hot in that room. I called on our second day to get it fixed and no one ever called me back or came to try and fix it. My son ended up sleeping terribly because of the heat. "I have stayed in many places, Kittyhawk, Doug said etc. this is my number one spot for now on. The best part was the one floor so I could keep an eye on my autistic son other places have three floors, and I have to go up and down the stairs a lot but thank you"
