"This is an old fashioned hotel. The internet is free but unsecured and slow. The tv reception is poor and lacking many stations The water pressure is low but there was plenty of hot water The bed was comfortable and the ac worked fine There was a separate comfortable sitting room with a fridge Coffee and hot water available in the lobby 24 hour front desk with very nice staff "

"Our stay at Jimmy’s met all our expectations that we had hoped for in Woodstock. The accommodation is conveniently situated close to the heart of town and once we had parked our car it was easy to walk to the restaurants and shops. The room was impeccably appointed and spotlessly clean. Our hosts were extremely hospitable and personally welcomed us upon our arrival. "The home and entire property is lovely. Our room was not in the main house but it was roomy, clean and comfortable. Loved the cute Conutry store as well. Charge a little more and include a breakfast voucher. "

"The owners are so kind, friendly, and thoughtful! I stayed here the night before the eclipse, and because they knew people wanted to leave early the next day to beat the eclipse traffic, they moved up the start of breakfast (poached eggs and bacon hash, yum!) an hour. The hotel is beautiful and has wonderful views of the surroundings, including the lake, from windows. There is a nice loop around the lake that can be done, and hiking trails nearby.
